YouTube TV currently provides subscribers with access to more than 85 live TV channels as well as a selection of on-demand content. In addition, subscribers have the option to enrich their subscription by choosing from a selection of premium channels that can be added to the base plan.

There are plenty of live TV streaming services now available. However, if you’re specifically interested in YouTube TV, then it’s worth knowing exactly what channels you will get with a paid subscription as the channel lineup can be the difference in deciding whether this is the right live TV streaming service for you.

Below is a complete list of all the channels included with a YouTube TV subscription. The list is continually updated each time YouTube TV makes a change to its channel lineup. This way you can rest assured the list below is exactly what you get if you sign up to YouTube TV today.

New to YouTube TV?

YouTube TV is an over-the-top internet service that provides access to live TV content without the need for a traditional live TV subscription. That’s not to say you don’t need a subscription to YouTube TV, you do. The difference is simply in the method of delivery. While traditional TV packages are delivered via cable or satellite, OTT services typically deliver live TV directly to the consumer, over the internet.

One of the major benefits of this approach is that there is usually no need to rent or purchase specific hardware to access the service. Instead, YouTube TV can be accessed on a variety of devices already in the home.

How many YouTube TV plans are there?

There’s only one subscription option available and this makes YouTube TV a little different to many of the other live TV streaming services, considering others tend to offer more than one plan or price point to suit the varying budgets of different consumers.

YouTube TV doesn’t work this way and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon as YouTube TV has never offered more than one plan. Instead, it offers a single live TV package and experience that’s identical for all subscribers.

The downside of this is that consumers don’t have much choice. The price is the price and the channel lineup is the channel lineup. You can either accept it or choose to go with a different live TV streaming service instead.

How much is YouTube TV?

YouTube TV currently costs $64.99 per month. When the service first launched it was priced at just $35 per month. At the time it offered exceptional value for the content on offer.

YouTube upped the price to $40 per month in 2018. This price increase only affected new subscribers as existing subscribers remained locked into their $35 plan, as long as they didn’t cancel their subscription.

In 2019, YouTube introduced another price increase. This time the price rose by $10 taking the total to $50. Unlike the previous increase, this one did affect both new and existing subscribers. Likewise, another price increase arrived in 2020, bringing the price up to $65 per month for all YouTube TV subscribers.

Channels included with YouTube TV

The price is not the only aspect that has changed with YouTube TV over the years, as the channel lineup is another area that has routinely been adjusted since launch. The good news is the channel changes have generally been for the better.

Over the last few years, YouTube TV has gradually increased the number of channels. In most cases, the channel expansions have arrived to directly coincide with a price increase. For some, this has softened the blow of the price hike, and especially as other services have often increased their prices without adding additional channels at the same time.

Due to this approach, and although the service’s price has continually risen, a YouTube TV subscription has remained good value overall, compared to the competition.

Below is the list of every live TV channel currently included with the $64.99 base subscription.

YouTube TV additional networks

While YouTube TV only offers one live TV subscription that doesn’t mean it cannot be further customized to better suit the individual’s needs. Although this will result in the subscriber having to pay more each month.

The easiest way to expand the YouTube TV channel lineup is to add additional premium channels. These are added on a per-channel basis and each channel costs a different amount ranging from a few dollars to $15 for HBO Max.

I did not get a “have a promotion code” tab to enter code QUHVZTAYH3HA in order to receive the 21-days free trial and reduced first month price. What do I do??

Did you go through to the “What’s Included” page? On the left will be a list of all the channels and on the right there’s a box which lists the price. Underneath the price, there’s a “+” sign which expands to let you enter the code.

For reference, if signing up on mobile, then you need to hit the bar at the bottom of the screen (where the price is shown on the “what’s included” page) to see the promo code option and the “+” sign.
