Sling TV is not only one of the most popular live TV streaming services, but it is also one of the oldest. If you’re thinking about signing up to the service then you will want to know how many channels Sling TV has.

In addition to knowing how many channels you get with a Sling TV subscription, it is also important to understand which channels are included. As regardless of the price, if Sling TV does not have the channels you want, then it’s not the right live TV streaming service for you.

This guide covers the various plans Sling TV currently offers, the channels included with each of those plans, as well as the various ways those plans can be customized with additional channels and add-ons.

What is Sling TV?

Sling TV is a live TV streaming service that provides access to live TV channels over the internet. The service was one of the first live TV streaming services to launch in the U.S., and this provided Sling TV with an opportunity to cement its position in the market.

Since then, and in spite of the rise in competition, Sling TV has managed to maintain a leadership spot in terms of subscriber numbers. One of the reasons for this is the price. Sling TV was, and still is, one of the cheapest ways to get involved with live TV streaming.

Sling TV offers three main plans: Sling Orange, Sling Blue, and Sling Orange + Blue.

  • Sling Orange costs $30 per month and provides access to more than 30 channels.
  • Sling Blue costs $30 per month and provides access to more than 50 channels.
  • Sling Orange + Blue is priced at $45 per month and provides access to more than 50 channels.

Sling TV Orange & Blue channels

Both the Sling Orange and Sling Blue plans com with what’s largely the same channel lineup, although they are not identical.

To sum up, Orange comes with Disney-owned channels, such as the Disney Channel and ESPN. In contrast, Blue comes with channels owned by Comcast, including NBC, NBCSN and USA.

Sling TV add-ons (Extras)

One of the benefits of Sling TV is that it is a highly customizable service. For example, although the Orange and Blue plans are limited in the number of channels, subscribers can use add-on packs to increase the number of additional channels.

Ranging from $5 to $10 in price, these “Extra” add-ons allow subscribers to create a more a la carte package. Subscribers have the choice of choosing from the following Extra channel packs: Sports, Comedy, Kids, News, Lifestyle, Hollywood, and Heartland.

Hi Linda, received your message.

The Tyson fight tomorrow is a PPV event so it is not included with Sling TV. To stream the fight online, it is best to order and stream via the official TysonOnTriller website.

Depending on what device you are using, you may also be able to download the “FITE” app and order/stream the fight that way.

I hope this helps.

Good morning. This is a really great website! But I’m curious about local channels. Is there a reason why local channels aren’t available
