Peacock TV is currently running a Black Friday 2020 deal that drops the annual cost of a Premium subscription by up to 20-percent, depending on the plan. By taking advantage of the deal, new subscribers can secure one year’s worth of the NBCUniversal streaming service for as little as $39.99.

After only having launched in July of this year, Peacock is a newer streaming service compared to others. However, it arrived with a decent amount of content, thanks to the service including access to movies and shows from the NBC and Universal vaults. Furthermore, Peacock offers various price tiers to suit the different needs of consumers.

Peacock Premium is the cheapest paid tier and provides access to all of the content available through the service. There is also a Peacock Premier Plus option which does not increase the available content, but does remove the ads. Peacock Premium costs $4.99 per month (or $49.99 when paid annually) while Peacock Premium Plus costs $9.99 per month (or $99.99 on an annual basis).

Right now, Peacock is running a special Black Friday promotion that allows new customers who pay for the year ahead to save 20-percent on the overall cost. For example, the Peacock Premium plan has dropped in price to $39.99 for the year which works out to roughly $3.33 per month. Alternatively, those signing up for the Peacock Premium Plus plan currently only pay $89.99 per year, bringing the monthly cost down to around $7.49.

No Peacock code needed

While this promotion is not as good as the recent 50-percent off Peacock deal that was circulating, no code is needed to save on the annual cost. All new customers have to do is head over to the Peacock website, scroll down to the plan options and then select the annual plan they want and the discount will be automatically applied. Once signed up and the annual amount is paid upfront, new subscribers will have access to all of the content available through Peacock, including Premier League, for one year.

Overall, the Peacock Premium deal at $39.99 seems to be the better choice. Technically, both Premium plans have been reduced by exactly $10, although with the standard Premium plan being significantly cheaper to begin with, the rate of discount is much higher than what’s being offered through the Premium Plus deal. However, the standard Peacock Premium plan does include ads so that’s something subscribers will need to decide on before signing up.

Regardless of which plan is chosen, the current Peacock Premium Black Friday deal is only good through November 29, 2020. In addition, once the first year is over, Peacock Premium subscribers will automatically be billed for the next year upfront and at the non-discounted price.
