fuboTV has now added a number of Disney-owned channels including ABC, the Disney Channel, and ESPN to its channel lineup, resulting in a more robust and family-friendly streaming service than even before.

In June, fuboTV confirmed that it had struck a deal with Disney Media Networks to bring the additional channels to its lineup. However, there was some delay in between the initial announcement and the rolling out of the channels with the latter only taking place today.

Following the short interval, fuboTV has now confirmed that the newly added channels are available to both new and existing fuboTV subscribers.

The channels added include ABC, ABC News Live, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Freeform, FX, FXX, and National Geographic. Although not all channels are available to all fuboTV subscribers.

While the main ABC, Disney, ESPN and Nat Geo channels are being added to the base subscriptions, the other related channels will only be available through an additional paid add-on. For example, ESPNU and Nat Geo WILD both require the fubo Extra add-on.

Not the only recent fuboTV change

Shortly after the streaming service confirmed the arrival of the Disney and ESPN channels, it also confirmed it was making some more general changes to the service. This included removing other channels from its lineup and migrating most of the fubo Standard subscribers over to its family plan.

Essentially the family plan has now become the service’s default plan and while the fubo Standard plan is still available, it has incurred a $5 price increase, bringing the overall total to $59.99 per month. In contrast, the family plan now costs $64.99 per month and comes with an enhanced cloud DVR experience and an additional simultaneous stream.

These price and channel changes were also scheduled to take effect starting August 1 and right on schedule, the fuboTV website has now been updated to reflect all of the recent channel and price changes.
